Bhutan National Digital Identity (NDI) today announced the launch of its Digital Signature Platform, a solution that combines decentralized identity (DID) with cryptographic verification to deliver the future of secure digital signing. • Multi-Signatory Workflow. The platform enforces signing sequences and records each action in an immutable sequence, ensuring transparency and trust in complex agreements.
• Decentralized Identity Instead of Certificate Authorities. By replacing traditional Certificate Authorities with user-controlled DIDs, the system ensures that only the rightful document owner can generate a valid signature. **
• End-to-End Verifiability. A public verification portal allows any signed document to be re-uploaded and checked for authenticity—validating signatures, time stamp, order, and integrity even years after execution.
